To choose a ring type, pres s the Services key and select Ring type… from the Telephone Option menu. To choose a ring type: 1. T he defa ult setti ng is “Log all calls”. To log unanswered ca lls only, press the Services key and select C all Log Option from the Telephone Option m enu.
Configure options on the IP Phone 2002 46 Configure New Call indication You can configu re the IP Phone 2002 to display a messa ge to indicate a new incoming call was received. The defau lt setting is “O n”. To configur e new call indication, press the Services key and select Call Log Option from the Telephone Option menu .
Configure options on the IP Phone 2002 47 Configure Preferred Name Match You can configure the IP Ph one 2002 to display the na me of the caller as defined in your Person al Directory. The default setting is “Off”. To configure Preferr ed Name Match, press the Services key and select Call Log Option from the Telephone Option me nu.

Make a call 52 Make a call This section desc ribes featur es asso ciated with making a call. There are several ways to make a call from an IP Phone 2002. Use Off-hook dialing Use On-hook dialing 1. Lift the handset. 2. Dial the number. 3. To terminate the call, choose one of th e following: — Replace the handset into the cradle .

Make a call 56 Make a call using Co rporate Directory The Corporate Directory feature provides an alphabetical list of entries using last names. You can search by name, view additional infor mation on each entry, and dial Corp orate Directory nu mbers.
Make a ca ll 57 Make a call using Personal Directory The Personal Directo ry feature allo ws yo u to store a maximum of 100 entries consisting of names and numb ers.
Make a call 58 Make a call using Callers List The Callers List feature au tomatica lly stores up to a maxim um of 100 callers. After 100 calle rs have been stored, each additional caller overwrites the oldest entry. To use Callers List, press the Directory key and select Calle rs List .

While on an active call 73 Use Call Park Use the Call Park feature to hold temporarily (pa rk) and retrieve a call from any telephone. Using Ca ll Park does not tie up a line. When configured network-wid e, Call Park can be used across networks. A System Park Extensi on can be set to automatically park most calls.
