12 Pow er Adaptor Using the Po wer A dapto r The GPS unit is supplied w ith a Car Adaptor for charging the internal battery and for powering the unit w hile in a vehicle. Connect the Car A daptor Pow er Plug to the unit’s USB port and plug the other end to the vehicle’s 5V accessory/ cigarette socket, as shown below .
13 Pow er Adaptor A bout Rechargeable Ba ttery Y our portable GPS dev ice comes with a built-in rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery . A fully charged battery delivers about 2 hours of use.
14 System Connections Inserting SD Card The unit is designed with an SD C ard slot which allows y ou to insert an SD card into the unit as shown below : T o remov e the card, gently press the card in with your finger nail. Th e card unlocks and protrudes slightly .
15 System Connections Connecting to Earphone s Y ou may connect earphones to the right side of the unit for private listening. When earphones are connected, the speaker will automatically turn off. Note: Overly loud v olume could damage your hearing.
16 System Connections USB Mode When you connect the GPS device to a computer w ith a USB cable, the screen will display as below : Y ou can connect to computer for data accessing. T ap in the top right corner to disconnect from the computer and go back to the last screen before connecting to computer .
17 Using The Windshield Mounting Bracket When using the unit in vehicle, you can use the supplied mount accessories (windshield mounting bracket, magnetic cradle and dashboard mount disk) to mount the unit in the vehicle. T ake the following steps to operate: 1.
18 Using The Windshield Mounting Bracket T o mount to dashboard, use the included adhesive disk. Choose a clean, dry spot on y our dashboard, peel off protection liner from the back of the disk, and then attach the disk to your dashboard.
19 General Setup System Main Menu In the main menu, there are four items for selecting. T ouch the corresponding item to enter . T ap to enter the Navigator . T ap to enter the MP3 Player . T ap to enter the Photo Viewer . T ap to enter the Setup menu.
20 General Setup Setup Menu In the main menu, tap to enter the Setup menu, the screen will display as below : In the Setup menu, tap to return to the main menu.
21 General Setup Language T ap in the Setup menu to enter Language setting menu for language selection, as shown below: T ap the , buttons to select language.
22 General Setup Date & Time T ap in the Setup menu to enter Date & Time setting menu for changing to the current time zone, date and time, as shown below: T ap the buttons to select the proper T ime Zone. T ap the buttons of Date group to change the corresponding date.
23 General Setup Brightness T ap in the Setup menu to enter Brightnes s setting menu for backlight adjustment, as shown below: T ap , to darken or increase the brightness of the display . Energy Saver: Y ou can set the energy saver ON or OFF to determine how the backlight will behave w hen the screen has not been touched for 5 minutes.
24 General Setup Vo l u m e T ap in the Setup menu to enter V olume settings menu for volume adjustment, as shown below : T ap the to decrease the volume.
25 General Setup A lign Screen T ap in the Setup menu to align the screen, as shown below . T ap the center of the cr oss wi th your finger . When the cross mov es to another position, tap and hold the center of the new t arget. Repeat each time to complete the calibration process.
26 General Setup Power T ap in the Setup menu to enter Pow er menu, as shown below: The Power menu display s the unit’s battery st atus. The v alues are between 0% and 100%, where 0% means the battery power has run out completely , and 100% represents a full battery power .
27 Playing Music The unit is designed with an SD card slot and support s MP3 and WMA format music files. T o use the music player , you w ill need to have an SD c ard w ith y our MP3 music files p reloade d and then in sert the card into the slot on the side of the unit.
28 Playing Music T ap button to enter the music play list menu, as shown below: When you ope n the play list, the system w ill look for au dio files on it s SD memory card and create a play list automatically . If the play list consists of more than one screen, t ap the up arrow for the previous page and the dow n arrow for the next p age.
29 Playing Music T ap / toggle buttons to determine whether or not to play the songs in the list randomly . T ap to start the playback and return to Music Play er , as shown below . T ap / toggle button to pause or resume the playback. T ap to go back to the previous song; tap to skip to the next song.
30 Photo Viewer The unit is designed with an SD card slot and support s JPEG format files playback. T o use the Photo View er , you will need to have an S D card with your JP EG picture files preloaded and then insert the card into the slot on the side of the unit.
31 Photo Viewer Viewing Photos In the folder menu, double t ap the m emory card icon, and the p hotos stored in the memory card will be listed on the screen. In the photo list, double tap a photo to display it on the LC D screen. Y ou can also tap a photo to select it and then tap to display it.
32 Photo Viewer T ap to return to the previous menu. T ap to enter the Setting menu for setting the Slide Show . When playing photos, the Photo View er has following playback features: T ap to go back t o the prev ious photo; t ap to switch t o t he nex t photo.
33 Photo Viewer Y ou can set the slide show on or off to determine w hether or not to play photos in slide show mode. When the slide show is on, y ou can set the interval between tw o photos during slide show . After setting, t ap to confirm or tap to cancel.
34 T roubleshooting Before contacting customer serv ice, review the step s below to solve simple problems. If you still suspect something wrong w ith this unit, immediately turn the power off, disconnect the pow er connector from the unit, and contact Nex tar Customer Serv ice.

15 Raccordement s du système Raccordement des éco uteurs V ous pouv ez raccorder des écouteurs sur le côté droit de l’appareil pour une écoute individuelle. Lorsque les écouteurs sont raccordés, le haut-parleur sera automatiquement désactivé.

17 Utilisation du support de fixation Lorsque vous utilisez l’appareil dans un v éhicule, vous pouv ez utiliser les accessoires de fixation fournis (support de fixation, socle magnétique et disque de fixation pour tableau de bord) pour procéder à son installation.
18 Utilisation du support de fixation Pour une installation sur le t ableau de bord, utilisez le disque adhésif fourni. Choisissez un endroit propre et sec sur votre pare-bri se, enlevez la pellicul e protectrice au dos du di sque de fixation, et fixez le disque sur v otre pare-brise.

23 Réglages généraux Luminosité T ouchez dans le menu des Réglages pour accéder au menu des réglages de la Luminosité [Brightness] pour régler le rétroéclairage, tel qu’illustré ci-dessous : T ouchez pour augmenter ou réduire la luminosité de l’affichage.
