Y1 - 03 -022 8 Rev. B 7 4.1 Activation (406 M Hz and 121.5 M Hz) To activate your b eacon in a distress situation, follow t hese steps: 1) Unfasten the anten na from the case. 2) Move it into the uprig ht position (s ee figure 3 b elow ). 3) Depress the ON/OFF button for 1 f ull second.

At eac h insp ection , check the tim e rem aining until replacem ent is required. The battery s hould b e repl aced if the beacon has been activated for an y use other than the self test.
