The tumble dr y er does not star t automatically when the door closes (for e xample , if a child closes the door from inside the dryer). Here are some tips that may help y ou bef ore you begin tumble drying. Ha ve the clothes been spun? Items to be tumble dried should be spun at 1000 rpm or faster . Higher spin speeds sav e both ener- gy and drying time. Materials that can be tumble dried This symbol means that the material is suitable for tumble drying.

5 Selecting Options By selecting options , you can tailor a drying program to suit y our requir ements. The machine remembers which options y ou choose for each pr ogram and uses them (with one e xcep- tion – Delay ed Start) the next time y ou select the same program.
6 Press the Start button Remaining drying time An estimate of the remaining drying time will be shown on the displa y a fe w minutes after the drying program starts. F or ex ample, 1:35 means it will take appr oximately 1 hour and 35 minutes for the load to dry .

Cleaning the lint filter The lint filter must be cleaned after each load. If you ha v e very hard water , this can cause limescale deposits in the lint filter . Check f or any limescale deposits when cleaning the lint filter and, if necessar y , wash the filter b y hand.
The machine will not start Check • that the door is properly closed. • that the main pow er switch is on. • that the machine is not programmed to start at a specific time (e.g., 13.30) • that any plug is connected. • that the fuses (circuit break ers) in y our house are intact.

C . Built-in ASK O dr yers can be installed beneath a cabinet or worktop with a minimum height of 34” (864 mm). There must be a gap of about 1/2” (12 mm) all around the machine, including betw een the rear edge of the machine top panel and the back wall.
How to assemble the stacking kit: 1. Undo the anti-tip device . 2. Remo ve the tw o screw s indicated on the back of the washing machine . 3. Secure the anti-tip de vice using the scre ws as shown in the pictur e. 4. Attach the plastic cups f or mounting the tumble dryer’ s front f eet to the washing machine’ s top cov er .
Adjusting the f eet Scre w the feet in or out so that the tumble dryer is steady and balanced on the floor or on the washing machine . Then tighten the lock nuts. Lock nut Air e xhaust Connecting the e xhaust duct to the dr y er Note Y ou will need to purchase a UL-CSA-appr ov ed 4-inch ridged metal exhaust duct.
Connecting the e xhaust duct to the Le ft or Right Side Outlet T o connect the exhaust duct to the le ft or right side outlet, follo w the steps below: 1. Using a flathead screw-driv er , turn the e xhaust outlet cov er you plan to use to the right or left to align the tabs holding the cov er in place.
T o connect the e xhaust duct to a ventilation outlet, f ollow the steps belo w: 1. Connect the e xhaust duct to a v entilation ex- haust fitting or to a discharge through the w all. 2. Secure the duct joint to the outlet stub on the machine. 3. Run the duct with as f ew bends as possible to the point of discharge .
Electrical Connections W arning! Read the Electrical requir ements and grounding instructions bef ore connecting the tumble dr yer . Electric models of the dr yer ar e manufactured f or a 3-wire connection sy stem. The dr yer frame is grounded b y a link to the neutral conductor on the dryer terminal block.
5. Connect ground (center) wire of po wer supply cord to the center , silver-colored terminal scre w . Tighten scre w . 6. Connect the other wires to outer scre ws. 7. Tighten the strain relie f screw s. 8. Replace terminal bo x cov er on back of dr yer .

Y ou can choose whether the door is hung on the right or the left. F ollow these instructions: 1. Remo ve the T oe kick. 2. Unscre w the 2 screw s on the hinges. 3. Lift the door up and remo ve it. Support the door while doing this. 4. Remo ve both door pins (top and bottom).
