3 Loca tion Re quireme nts Y ou will need ■ A location that allows for p roper exhaust install ation. A gas dryer must be exhaus ted to the outdoors. See “ Ven t i n g Requirements. ” ■ A grounded electric al outlet located w ithin 2 ft (61 cm) of either side of the dryer .
4 Mobile Home - Addition al Installation Requirements This dryer is s uitable fo r mobile home ins tallations. The installat ion must conform to th e Manufactured Home Constr uction and Safe ty Standa.
5 ■ Must incl ude a shu toff valve: In the U.S.A.: An indi vidual manual sh utoff va lve must b e inst alled w ithin six (6 ) feet (1 .8 m) of the dry er in accordance w ith the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1. In Canada: An indiv idual man ual shutoff valv e must be inst alled i n accordance with the B149 .

8 3. Examine the l eveling l egs. Find the di amond marking. 4. Screw the legs in to the leg holes by hand. Use a wrench to finis h turning the legs until the diam ond marking is no lon ger visibl e. 5. Place a carton cor ner post un der each of the 2 dryer back corners .
9 Level Dry er Chec k the lev elness o f the d ryer . Check levelne ss first side to side, th en fr ont t o back. If the dryer is not level, prop up the dryer using a wood block. Use a wrench to adjust the legs up or dow n and check again for leveln ess.
10 Complete Installation 1. Check that all parts are now ins talled. If t here is an extra part, go back t hrough the s teps to see whic h step was ski pped. 2. Check t hat you have all of yo ur tools. 3. Check the dryer ’ s fina l locat ion. Be sure the ve nt is not crushed or kinked.

14 Requisitos eléctricos ■ Se neces ita un sumini stro el é ctrico d e 120 voltios, 60 hertzios , CA solamen te, de 15 ó 20 amperios y protegido con fusi ble.
15 La l í nea de suminist ro de gas ■ Debe in cluir una d erivaci ó n tapada NPT de por lo menos ¹⁄₈ " accesibl e para la conexi ó n del man ó met ro de prueba, inmediatamen te arriba de la con exi ó n de sum inistr o de gas a la secadora (v ea la ilu straci ó n).

19 Conexión del sumin istro de gas 1. Quite l a tapa r oja del tubo de gas. 2. Utilizand o una llave de t uercas, conecte el s uministro de gas a la secadora. Use sellador compu esto para las roscas de todos los acc esorios mach o no abocinados. Si se usa tu ber í a flexib le de meta l, as eg ú re se que no hay parte s re torc idas.

Tire de la puerta haci a adelante para separarla de los tor nillos. Coloque l a puerta encima de la secadora. Extr aiga los t ornillos su perior es del g abinet e.
