Button Description Select button. De-acti vates any selec ted mode (for example, for placing traces) and allows you to select an element on the board.

Please note that all filters are not available in all versions of Ultiboard.

It also contains but tons for functions that control the appearance of lines and shap es drawn on any layer, except a copper layer.

These settings are saved w ith th e design and will be in effect when the design is reopened.

These shortcuts can then be used to ma ke a layer active. The active layer is the layer where any new elements will be placed, or where any deletions will be made.

You will use it often to mana ge your design efforts by controlling major parts of Ultiboard’s fun ctionality.

Spreadsheet View: DRC T ab The DRC tab displays errors (for example, Design Rule Errors ) and warnings as they occur while you work.

T o display the Layers tab, click the Layers tab in the Design Toolbox .
