The DAQCard-1200 timing I/O uses two 82C53 counter/timer integrated circuits.

When you use counter A0 to time sample intervals, a rising edge on EXTTRIG starts counter A0 and the data acquisition sequence.

Each analog output channel can provide unipolar or bipolar output. The DAQ Card-1200 also contains timing circuitry for waveform generation timed either externally or internally.
