- 1 - Mediadisk NRX Series is a Home M edia Center, with a built-in 3 . 5“ HD D, c an re c ord and play media files (movies, audios and photos) through TV and w hen connected to PC, can also copy and play shared files via netwo rk. - 2 - REMOTE CONT ROL Buttons Function POWER on or o ff . Display media f ile infor m ation. In vide o and photo mode, press to v iew time, title or chapter . Select audio trac k. View Guide m enu. Activate subtitle s. Enter Timer Men u. Mute audio output .
- 3 - Button Function Button Function Jump to a speci fic point. Skip to nex t title. SLO W button: play in slow motion. Available level s: 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 , 1/16x Browse m usic, photo and m ovie f iles. Return to previou s list in menu mode.
- 4 - NET WO RK BA SED D ATA SH A RING WI TH PC Network-bas ed Data Sharing with PC A f ter LAN cable is connec ted, according to y our system environment, set up windows net w ork as follows.

- 7 - WARN ING ! If your PC already has “Obtain IP add ress automatically ” checked and IP automatica ll y assigned from an Internet route r or DHC P server, you may not need this setup. If you want a ma nual IP setup, plea se obtain an available IP addres s and subnet mask from t he router manufact urer or network administ rator.
- 8 - MENU INTE RF A CE After a few s econds , the system will show guide menu. Selecting Browser It’s a n explor er: browse movie, photo, a nd m usi c files stored in U SB, HDD, Networ k an d Card Reader. Vi deo In Select the input source to be record ed.
- 9 - BROWSER MENU Browse and play music, photo and movie files stored in NRX or external USB device, card reader, Netwo rk or Playlist. Browsing All Select A ll in menu . Select folder(s) containing all fi les (Music ,Photo and M ovie). Select f ile you want to view and it will be displayed.
- 10 - Return Select to go to main screen. Rename T o rename file: 1. Select Rena me from menu bar. 2. Name entry s c reen appe ars. 3. Use navigation ar rows to select letters an d numbers. Select CA PS to toggle betw een uppercase and lowercase letters.
- 1 1 - Browse Music Select folder containing your audio files. A thu m bnail st rip will appe ar at the screen bottom, with song information. NRX supports Mp3, W MA, AAC, OGG format. Browse Photos Select folder c ontaining pho to files. Select photo you want to view and it will be di splayed full screen.
- 12 - RECORDING FUN CTION V ideo in Select to record directly from AV in. System will crea t e “My R ecordings” folder at HD D or USB device. Y our recorded file will be saved at this folder . File name will be na m ed ac c ording to s ystem t im e.
- 13 - Edit Schedules Select schedule you w ant to edit from list. Modify schedule as described in “C reate a New Schedule” on previo us page. Delete Schedules Select the schedule you want to delete and confirm one, all or can c el. View Schedule S tatus Schedule list is di splayed.
- 14 - FILE COPY MENU Copy files fro m Hard Di sk, NET, USB or Card Reader from a m edia to ano ther. Select File Copy from Guide menu or select COP Y on remote control. Step 1. Select Source Devic e Select device you r want to copy in Source s ector .
- 15 - SETUP MENU Configure vide o, record and system settings. Photo Settings Slide Show T i ming Set slide show time. Select OFF or interval you require.
- 16 - HDMI Settings Change yo ur TV-set to HDMI output to be di splayed on your TV s creen. Record Settings Quality Select to set defau lt recording quality set t ing. The highest quali ty is HQ and requir es m ore s t orage spa ce. Other settings redu ce recording qua lit y and requ ire less storage spa c e.
- 17 - System Settings Select Sy stem f rom m enu. Menu Language Choose OSD (On Screen Display) lang uage. T ext encoding Choose the tex t encoding language. Time Select to set sy st em ti m e. Enter M anual setup Enter syste m menu: sele c t field an d adjust settings.
- 18 - HDD format Warning: Ma k e sure yo u m ade a backup of your datas before for matting as it will erase al l datas. Partitionning Step 1 : Adjust Fat32 , NTFS partitio n and capacity accord ing to your needs. Step 2: Press “For m at” to start.
