- 2 - 1. Introduction This Low P r ofile PCI Host Adapter is a PCI controller board to support Low p ro file P C I and regular si ze PC I both in one card. The card can upgrade your desktop com puter to have 2 port s Serial A T A to support RAID 0 / RAID 1 features, and five USB2.

- 4 - Dis k Mirro rin g (R AI D 1) Disk m i rroring creates an i dentical twin for a selected disk by havi ng the dat a s im ult aneously w r itten to tw o disks. This redundancy provi des i n sta n t aneous protection from a si ngle disk fail ure. If a read fail ure occurs on one drive, the system reads the data from the other drive.
