7 Important Safety Precautions ■ Carefully read these operating instructions before using the appliance. ■ Connect the appliance only to an earthed mains safety socket. The voltage stated on the appliance rating plate must correspond with that of your mains supply.
8 Before first use ■ Remove the protective foil from the base grid. ■ Remove the strip of paper from the filling funnel of the coffee-beans container.

40 Chauffage de liquides ■ Retirez l’accessoire cappuccino. ■ Appuyez sur la touche de présélection vapeur (23) . Le témoin « vapeur » se met à clignoter. Lorsque le préchauffage est terminé, le témoin « vapeur » s’allume et vous pouvez commencer à produire de la vapeur.

44 Programme de détartrage La quantité du dépôt de tartre dépend de la dureté de l’eau utilisée. Lorsqu’il est utile de procéder au détartrage, l’appareil vous avertit par l’allumage du témoin « détartrer » à condition qu’il soit sous tension.
