Warnings 307878Y 3 Warnings The following warnings are fo r the setup, use, grounding, mainte nance, and repair of th is equipment. The exclama- tion point symbol alerts you to a genera l warning and the ha zard symbols refer to procedure- specific risks.
Warnings 4 307878Y SKIN INJECTION HAZARD High-pressure fluid from dispensing device, hose leaks, or ruptured components will pierce skin. This may look like just a cut, but it is a serious injury that can result in amputation. Get immediat e surgical treatment.
Installation 307878Y 5 Installation Grounding Ground all of this equipment: • Pump: Use a ground wire and clamp as shown in F IG . 1. Remove the grou nd screw (Z) and insert through the eye of the ring terminal at end of ground wire (Y). Fasten the screw back onto the pump an d tighten securely.

Models 225006 and 240 880 : Assembly the base (3) as show n in the Par ts Drawing on page 14. Models 225026, 24088 1, and 245696 : Assemble the truck (3) as shown in the Parts Drawing on pa ge 13.

Installation 8 307878Y Models 226012 and 240886 Refer to F IG . 7 for the following inst ructions unless other wise indicated. 1. Assemble the truck as sh own in the Pa rts Drawing on page 13 but do not assemble the hand le. 2. Slide handle through elevator slide tube and secure handle to base.

Installation 10 307878Y Air Line and Accessories NOTE: Install air line accessories in the order sh own in the Typical Ins tallation. • Install a pump runaway valve ( G) to shut off the air to the pump if the pump accelerates beyo nd the pre-adjusted setting.
Installation 307878Y 11 6. Set the air pressure to each pump at the lowest pressure needed to get the desir ed results. NOTE: A pump runaway valve can be installe d not he air line to automatically shut of f the pump if it starts to run too slow. Never allow the pump to run dry of the fluid being pumped.
