10 Operating Instructions Icemaker How your icemaker works When you first star t your icemaker , the water reservoir will fill and the system will rinse itself before star ting to make ice. The rinsing process takes about five minutes. Under normal operating conditions, the icemaker will cycle on and off as needed.
