6 BEFORE SETTING SURFACE CONTROLS LOCATIONS OF THE GAS SURFACE BURNERS The SIMMER burner is best used for simmering delicate sauces, etc. This burner is located at the right rear burner position. The ST ANDARD sized burners are used for most surface cooking needs.
7 SETTING SURFACE CONTROLS IMPORTANT In the event of an electrical power outage, the surf ace burners can be lit manually . T o light a surface burner , hold a lit match to the burner head, then slowly turn the surface control knob to LITE. After burner lights turn the knob to desired setting.
