Any function that require s your prolonged attent ion should only be performed after coming to a complete stop. Always stop the ve hicle in a safe location before performi ng these functions.
2 -EN Never Attempt the Following Do not grip or pull out the disc wh ile it is being pulled back into the player by the automatic reloading mechanism. Do not attempt to insert a disc in to the unit when th e unit power is off. Inserting Discs Y our player acce pts only one disc at a time for playback.
3 -EN On handling Comp act Discs (CD/CD-R/CD-RW ) • Do not touch the surface. • Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight. • Do not affix stickers or labels. • Clean the di sc when it is dusty . • Make sure that there are no bumps around the disc.

6 -EN Setting RDS Rece ption Mode and Receiving RDS St ations The RDS (Radio Data Syst em) is a radio inf ormation sys tem using the 57 kHz subc arrier of re gular FM br oadcast.
7 -EN Receiving T raffic Information 1 Press and hold for at least 2 seconds so that the “T A” indi cator li ght s up. 2 Press or to select your desired traffic information station. When a traff ic information station is tuned in, the “TP” indicator lights up.
8 -EN Playback 1 Insert a disc with the label side f acing up. The disc will b e pulled into th e unit automat ically , and the “ DISC IN” i ndicator lig hts up . When a disc is alr eady inser ted, pres s SOURCE / t o switch to th e DISC mode. The mode w ill change every time t he button is pressed .
9 -EN M.I.X. (Random Play) Press 4(M.I.X.) in the play or pause mode. The “ M.I.X.” in dicator lights up, and the track s (files) on th e disc will be pla yed back in rand om sequence. Press 4(M.I. X.) again to canc el. Folder M.I.X. (Random Play) (MP3) Press and hold 4(M.
10 -EN This device also can play back discs in Joliet, Romeo, etc., and other st andards that conform to ISO9660. However , sometimes the file names, folder name s, etc., are not displayed correctly . Formats supported This device supports Mult i-Session.
11 -EN Adjusting Bass Level/T reble Level/ Balance (Between Lef t and Right)/ Fader (Between Front and Rear) 1 Press Rotar y encoder (A UDIO) repeatedly to choose the desired mode.
12 -EN Displaying the T ext T ext information, such as the disc name and th e track name, will b e displayed if play ing a CD text compatibl e disc. It is also possible to display the folder n ame, the file name and the tag , etc., while playing MP3 files.
13 -EN Controlling USB memory (Optional) A USB memory dev ice may be conn ected to t his unit. With USB memory connec ted, playba ck of files on t he device is controlled f rom this unit. • The controls on this unit for USB me mory operatio n are operative only when a USB memory is connected.
14 -EN In Case of Difficulty If you enco unter a probl em, please turn the power of f, then on again. If the unit is stil l not functionin g normally , please review the items in the following checklist. T his guide will he lp you isolate the problem if th e unit is at fault.
