• Locate the soothing unit on the f ootrest. • Insert a coin into the batter y c ompar tment door and pry the batter y compartment door off. • Insert one “D” (LR20) alkaline batter y , as indicated inside the battery compartment. Be sure to place the battery on top of the ribbon.
• Place the base tube on a flat surface as shown. • Position the left and right base wires as sho wn. Note the location of the colored tabs on the left and right base wires. • F it the left base wire into the base tube. • F it the right base wire into the base tube.
• Position the f ootrest so that the soothing unit is upright. • While flexing the base wires towar d each other , hook the footrest onto the ends of the base wires.
• Position the seat back tube abo ve the base assembly . • F it the seat back tube completely onto the base wires. Assembly 3 7 Seat Back T ube Base Wire Base Wire.
• F it a retainer to the outside of the seat back tube, as shown. Mak e sure the socket in the retainer is upright. • Insert a screw through the hole in the seat back tube, base wire and into the inside of the retainer . • Tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriv er .
• Position the pad abo ve the frame with the blanket toward the soothing unit. • F it the upper pocket on the back of the pad onto the seat back tube . • Lift the footrest. Fit the low er pocket on the back of the pad onto the footrest .
• F it the toy bar plugs into each retainer socket. • Unfasten a strap on the to y bar . • Wrap the str ap around a toy ring and re-fasten the str ap. • Repeat this procedure to attach the other tw o toys to the toy bar . • The toy bar is r emovable.

Loosen T o tighten the restr aint: • F eed the anchored end of the belt up through the buckle to form a loop . • Pull the free end of the belt . • Repeat this procedure to tighten the other belt. T o loosen the restraint: • F eed the free end of the belt up through the buckle to form a loop .
4 13 Set-up & Use • Pull the blanket down complet ely . • F old the blanket under the footrest wire. • T uck the blank et into the pocket on the underside of the pad.
The pad is machine washable. Wash it separat ely in cold water on the gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry separately on low heat and remov e promptly . The frame , toy bar and toys ma y be wiped clean using a mild cleaning solution and a damp cloth.
