•L ocate the electronic unit on the footrest wire . Y ou will see that there are two battery compar tments. The smaller battery compartment powers the soother; the larger battery compartment powers the toy bar . •F irst, loosen the screw in the soother battery compar tment door with a Phillips screwdriver .
Battery T ips 5 1.5V – Soother 1.5V x 3 – T oy Bar “D” (LR20) SHOWN A CTUAL SIZE + – •D o not mix old and new batteries. •D o not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or r echargeable (nickel-cadmium). •R emove the batteries during long periods of non-use.
•P lace the base tube on a flat sur face as shown. •P osition the left and right base wires as shown. Note the location of the colored tab on the left and right base wires. •F it the left base wire into the base tube. •F it the right base wire into the base tube .
Assembly 7 •P osition the footr est so that the elec tronic unit battery compartment doors are upright. •W hile flexing the base wires toward each other , hook the footrest onto the ends of the base wires. •P ush the footrest do wn completely to the tabs on the base wires.
8 Assembly •P osition the seat back tube so that it bends backward . • Match the c olored symbol on the seat back tube to the colored symbol on the base wire ( ● circles on one side and ▲ triangles on the other side).
Assembly 9 •F it a retainer (rounded side inwar d) to one end of the seat back tube. • Insert a screw through the outside hole in the seat back tube and into the retainer . •W hile holding the retainer in place, tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriv er .
•C heck to be sure the seat back tube bends backward. •P ull the seat back tube up to be sure it is secure . •I f the seat back tube does not bend back ward or you can remo ve either end of the seat back tube, you hav e not assembled it correctly .
•U nbuck le the restraint belts from the r estraint pad . P ush the restraint belts back through the slots in the pad . •F it the pad upper pocket onto the seat back tube . • Lift the footrest. Fit the pad low er pocket onto the footrest . Low er the footrest.
•F it both restraint belts back thr ough the pad slots, as shown. Assembly 12 7 Restraint Belts.
Assembly 13 8 • Insert and “ snap ” the ends of the toy bar into the sockets in the footrest. •M ak e sure the to y bar latches are secure. T he small tabs on the sockets should be visible in the opening in the latches. Assembly is now complete .

Lo osen To tighten the belts: •F eed the anchored end of the belt up through the buckle to form a loop . •P ull the free end of the belt . •R epeat this procedure to tighten the other belt. To loosen the belts: •F eed the free end of the belt up through the buckle to form a loop .
Set-Up & Use •S lide the mode switch to f or baby activated mode. •W hen baby bats either to y , baby is rewarded with wav e sounds, bubbling action and lights. •S lide the vo lume switch to f or low volume; for high volume . •T he toy bar automatically turns off after appro ximately 10 minutes (from the last time baby bats a to y).
Set-Up & Use •S lide the mode switch to f or parent activated mode. Baby enjoys 10 minutes of music, lights and bubbling action. •S elec t music, or sounds, or no sound at all.
Set-Up & Use •T he teethers are remov able from the toys on the to y bar . Simply twist the ends of each teether slightly to remo ve from either toy .
Set-Up & Use 19 T he pad is machine washable. W ash the pad separately in cold water on the gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. T umble dr y separately on low heat and r emov e promptly . The frame , to y bar and teethers can be wiped clean using a mild cleaning solution and a damp cloth.
