For Types "A" and "H" 6-Volt (Standard) and Super 6-Volt Vehicles Requiring One 6-Volt Battery for Operation Model 74241 Super 6-Volt Charger Instructions • Please keep these instructions for future reference as they contain important information.
• Never allow children to charge the battery. Battery charging must be done by adults only. A child could be injured by the electricity involved in charging the battery. • Use of the wrong type battery or charger could cause a fire or explosion, resulting in serious injury.
Type "A" Super 6-Volt Vehicles If your Super 6-Volt vehicle and battery have Type "A" connectors as pictured here, this charger is ready for use with your vehice's power system.
• Charge a new battery at least 18 hours before first use. Recharge the battery at least 14 hours after each use. The charger may become warm to the touch while charging.A new battery may make a "sizzling" or "bubbling" noise and swell slightly.
• After charging, unplug the charger from the wall outlet. • Unplug the charger connector from the battery connector. Your battery is now charged and is ready to be installed in your vehicle. Please refer to your vehicle's Owner's Manual for Battery Installation instructions.
