EZN850 6 1. INTRODUCTION EZN850 network camera utilizes H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression for multiple streaming outputs. Engineered with the advanced new generation 16-bit DSP , the EZN850 has powerful processing cap ability to perform 560 TVL of horizontal resolution.
3. ACCESSING THE CAMERA MENU Ste p 1. Start an Internet Explorer browser . Ste p 2. Enter the IP a ddress or host name of the camera in the Location/A ddress field of your browser . (Please refer to EZN850 Installation Guide for how to find the IP address).

EZN850 11 4.1 System Info System information and system log check of the setup menu can be performed on this page. The “System Info” page has 2 tabs: [Information] tab and th e [Log] tab. 4.1.1 Information System Information: Firmware version, MAC address, V ideo T y pe, Model number .
EZN850 12 4.1.2 Log System Log : Date/Time : displaying date and tim e of the log. Log message : all information and event message, including login, user ’ s IP , reboot, firmware upgrade, load factory default, configuration reset and event detected.
EZN850 13 4.2 User Config Live view configuration is to b e set by user . Ea ch login user can make his/her own settings for the following items: Te x t S e t t i n g Check the box for text of Machine name , Date/Time or Frame Ra te to be displayed on the screen.

EZN850 19 Bandwidth Setting Max. Bandwidth: Specify , Unlimited / 64 K/ 12 8 K/ 256 K / 512 K / 1M / 2M / 4M / 8M bps. the maxi mum bandwidth that the camer a is allowed to use on th e network. This is a useful function when connecting the ca mera to busy or heavily loaded networks.
EZN850 20 send e-mails . SMTP Port: Enter the port number for SMTP . Default is 25. Authentication: Check the box, if the SMTP server re quires Authentication (user/ password). User name: Input the login user ID if th e SMTP server requires Authentication.

EZN850 22 4.4.1 Multi S tr eaming St ream Setting The system can output 4 video stream s simultaneously . For each of them, user can set compression for mat, resolution, quality and frame rate individually . S tream 1 is always enabled for live view .
EZN850 23 Press Apply to apply the setting changes or Reset to reset without saving the change. V ideo Recording Setting User can set video recording by selecting one of the enabled video streams. This will allow user to view live images as well as to record video of the other video streaming.

Ö OFF: BACKLIGHT fu nction does not operate. 4.4.2.5 AGC (A uto Gain Control) 1. Please direct the arrow to point to “AGC” on the SETUP menu by clicking UP ( c ) or DOWN ( d ) key .
EZN850 29 Ö OFF: No reduction in noise level. Ö LOW : Little reduction in noise level with nearly no ghost image. Default value is LOW . Ö MIDDLE: Just enough reduction in noise levels without causing much ghost imaging. Ö HIGH: Huge reduction in noise level, which may cause much ghost imaging.

EZN850 32 4.4.2.8.2 COLOR ADJ Adjust the Color Gai n from 0 ~ 15 4.4.2.8.3 SYNC There are two SYNCHRONIZA TION modes: INTERNAL and EXTERNAL LINE-LOCK. In LINE-LOCK mode, without a sy nchronous generator , it synchronizes the video signal between cameras.

EZN850 35 4.4.2.8.5 PRIV ACY This mode covers the areas y ou do not want to see on the screen. 1) Please direct th e arrow to point to “PRIV ACY” by clicking UP ( c ) o r DOWN ( d ) key . 2) Select “ON” by clicking LEFT ( e ) or RIGHT ( f ) key .

EZN850 38 4.4.2.8.8 RESET Click SET key on “RESET” for 3 seconds until it restarts. It will go to factory default value. 4.4.2.8.9 RETURN Click SET key on “RETURN”. It saves all settin gs in SPECIAL menu and returns to the Setup menu. 4.4.2.9 EXIT Click SET key on “EXIT” after you finish all the settings.
EZN850 39 4.5 USER User Information Maximum 10 users can be set for using the IP camera. The user information displays the authorized users and access levels: • Sup ervisor/Administrator –a supervisor/ad ministrator has unrestricted access to the Setting menu and can determine the registration of all other users.
EZN850 40 4.6 EVENT An event in the camera is when an E vent T ype is act ivated and causes certain actions to be performed. The e vent type is the set of conditions that specifies how and when which actions will be performed. This table describes how to setup action types and event ty pe.
EZN850 41 4.6.1 Event The settings relating to e vent occurrences such as settings for the event occurrenc e, motion, alarm and time mask can be confi gured on this page. The "Event" page has 4 tabs: the [Event] tab, the [Motion] tab , the [Alar m] tab and the [Time Mask] tab.
EZN850 42 T o change the priority of events, click on the event and it will be high lighted. Press or button to move between even ts . The event that has highest priority will be activated first. Press Apply to apply the setting changes or Reset to reset without saving the change.

EZN850 46 4.6.4 Time Mask T ime Mask Setting T ime mask setting allows you to schedule event actions. Select Alw ays for event action to be taken continuously . Press button to add ne w time period. Mask name: Input a mask name for the new time period.
EZN850 47 4.7 SYSTEM Date/Time, Daylight Saving, SD card and Maintenance settings can be performed on this page. The "System" page has 4 tabs: the [Date/Time] tab, the [Day light Saving] tab, the [SD card] tab and the [Main tenance] t ab. 4.
EZN850 48 T ime: Click on Hour , Minute, Seconds, am/pm; then use up arrow to increase value and down arrow to decrease val ue. Press Apply to apply the setting changes or Reset to reset without saving the change. Set Date/T ime Sync. Check Enable NTP c heckbox to enable NTP server .
EZN850 49 4.7.2 Daylight Saving Set Daylight Saving Check Enable Daylight Saving checkbox to enable day light saving. Set the start time to daylight sav ing time.

Press Apply to apply the setting changes or Reset to reset without saving the change. 4.7.3 SD Card Setup SD Card Notification: Notification will be made via e- mail when the remaining space of the SD memory card re ached the valu e selected from the followi ng.
EZN850 51 -Normal: Follow the event actions settings you have made in “Event” menu to record event video to SD c ard. -Overwrite: Select ON for ov erwriting data when SD card memory is full. Select OFF for not overwriting SD card data. Press Apply to apply the setting changes or Reset to reset without saving the change.
EZN850 52 3. Enter administrator user name and password. (user1, 11111111) 4. Then you can download video or image file from SD card. The file name will show the time of video.
EZN850 53 4.7.4 Serial Commun ication RS485 Setting Camera ID: This entry is used to assign ca mera own ID code. Baud Rate: This field is to set the speed at whi ch is used to trans mit instruction or information through the RS485 port on the camera. There are six different speeds, 2400/4800/9600/19200/38400/57600.
