- 5 - Driver Instal lation T o use this Hi-speed US B 2.0 Flash Disk, it is not nec essary to inst all any driver in W indow s ® ME, Windows ® 2000 , Windows ® XP , W indow s ® Vist a, Mac T M 9.x or later , Linux TM Kernel 2.4 or later . Only W indows ® 98 and W indow s ® 98SE need to insta ll the enclosed driver .

- 8 - Disk Pa r titions and Securi ty Fu nction This Hi-speed USB 2.0 Flash Disk provides utility program named “Format.exe” to enable user to partition t he Flash Disk and/ or to set Security Area with password check to secure your personal dat a.

- 12 - 18. USB ZIP Boot: This f unction is only supported f or W indows 98. After completing the format, t he USB Flash Disk will becom e MS-DOS S tartup Disk and be shown as “Rem ovable Disk” in the system. 19. USB HDD Boot: This f unction is only supported for W indow s 98.
