English - 1 Preface This quick start will be helpful in the installation, wiring, inspecti on, and operation of Delta ASDA-B series AC servo drive and ECMA series servo motor . Before using the product, ple ase read this quick start to ensure correct use.
English - 2 Wiring ¾ Connect the ground terminals to a class-3 ground (Gr oun d resistance should not exceed 100 Ω ). Improper gr ounding m ay r esult in electric shock or fire. ¾ Do not connect any power supplies to the U, V , W terminals. Failur e to observe this precaution may result in serious injury , damage to the driv e or fire.
English - 3 Main Circuit T erminal Wiring ¾ Insert only one wire into one terminal on the terminal block. ¾ When inserting wires, please ensure that the conductors ar e not shorted to adjacent term inals or wires. ¾ Please use Y -type te rminals to tighten the ends of wires.
English - 4 Minimum Clearances: Install a fan to increase ventilation t o avoid ambient temperatures that exceed the specification. W hen installing two or more drive adjacent to each other please follow the clear ances as shown in th e following diagram.
