English - 1 Preface This quick start will be hel pful in the installation, wiring, inspection, and operation of Delta ASDA-B series AC servo drive and EC MA series servo motor . Before using the pr oduct, please re ad this quick start to ensur e correct use.
English - 2 Wiring ¾ Connect the gr ound ter minals to a class-3 ground (Gr ound r esist ance should not exceed 1 00 Ω ). Impr oper grounding may r esult in electric sho ck or fir e. ¾ Do not connect any po wer supplies to the U, V , W terminals. Failure to observe this pr ecaut ion may r esult in serious injury , damage to the drive or fire.
English - 3 Main Circ uit T er minal Wiring ¾ Insert only one wire into one terminal on the terminal bl ock. ¾ When inserting wires, please ensur e that the c onductors ar e not short ed to adjacent terminal s or wir es. ¾ Please use Y -type terminals to tighten the ends of wir es.
English - 4 Minimum Clearances: Install a fan to increase ventilation to avoid ambie nt temperatures that exceed the s pecification. W hen installing two or more drive adj acent to each other please follo w the clearances as sho wn in the follo wing diagram.
