Soot or creosote may accumu- late in the exhaust vent system when the stove is operated under inco rrect conditions such as an ex- tremely rich burn.

The need for and frequency of cleaning depends on th e amount of pellets burned, pellet quality, length of time since last cleaning and the quality of the fire.

With proper cleaning and the use of quality pellets, your Glow Boy Series appliance requi res very little maintenance.
32 FAN MOTORS: C lean the in-take on CONVECTION (ROOM AIR) fan as well as the air holes on the motors of both COMBUSTION and CONVECTION fans annually. FRESH AIR INTAKE : Inspect periodically to be sure that it is not clogged with any foreign materi als.

37 Hopper Clean-Out Drop Chute You would have found this along with your Owner’s Manual, Allen –Key, exhaust gasket and inspection card. This can have two purposes. The main one is to be an attachment to the side of the hopper to help with cleaning out the hopper.
