2 IMPORT ANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following: 1. Read all instructions before using this heater. 2. This heater is hot when in use.
3 17. Do not use an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. However, if you have to use an extension cord, the cord shall be UL listed No. 1 4 AWG minimum size and rated not less than 1,875 watts, 15AMP at 125 V and has to be used only for supplying power to this heater.
4 Your product is equipped with a polarized alternating current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug.

MAINTENANCE • Before cleaning, turn off heater, unplug from outlet and allow heater to cool. • DO NOT immerse cord, plug or heater in water or other liquid or pour water or other liquid over heater (see IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD). • To clean dust and lint from air openings, disconnect the heater electric cord from the wall outlet.
