Oven T imer Operation 5 A UT OMA TIC COOKING The T op Oven and Main O ven can be con trolled by the automatic timer . When the timer control has been set for one ov en, it is possible to use the other oven only during the same automa tic cooking programme.
Know Y our Timer 6 Minute Minder Cook Period End Time Manual A U T O A U T O Minute Minder Cook Period End Time Manual CL OCKF A CE The timer incorporates a 24 hour clock. Ensure the correct time of day is alw ays set , before using your cooke r . SYMBOLS Will light up when you select a Minute Minder Period and will remain lit for the period set.
Oven T imer Operation 7 SETTING THE TIME OF DA Y Step 1 Make sure all oven controls ar e turned Off. Step 2 Check the electricity supply to the cooker is turned on. When switched on the display will show 0.00 and "A" symbol, both will be flashing intermittently .
Step 3 Press & hold in the “Cook Period” button, the display will r ead 0.00 with the cookpot symbol lit up. Step 4 With the Cook P eriod button still held set the required Cook Period using the “+” and “–” buttons.
Oven T imer Operation 9 Minute Minder Cook Period End Time Manual 16 . 20 At the end of the Aut omatic Cook P eriod the Auto Symbol "A" wil l flash and an intermittent bleeping sound will be heard . The symbol will go out. The bleeping sound will continue f or several minutes unless cancelled.
Oven T imer Operation 10 Step 4 Press & hold in the "C ook Period" button, the display will read 0.00 and the cookpot symbol will light up. With the Cook P eriod button still held set the required Cook P eriod using the "+" and "–" buttons, the "A" symbol will light up .
Oven T imer Operation 11 O THER NOTES ON TIMER OPER A TION 1. T o cancel the Auto Cooking programme befor e or after auto cooking star ts, press the "Cook P eriod" and "Stop Time" buttons together , this will return the cooker to the manual operation.
Using T he Hob DEEP F A T FRYING SAFEL Y 1. Use a deep pan, large enough to completely cover the appr opriate heating area. 2. Never fill the pan more than one third full of oil. 3. Never leav e oil or fat unattended during the heating or cooki ng period.

Using T he Grill - Grill Pan 14 Step 2 Step 3 Step 1 Remove screw & washer fr om the grill pan handle. Step 2 Tilt the handle over the recess Step 3 Slide it towards the end of the pan and remo ve handle. The grill pan handle is detachable to allow easier cleaning and storage.
Guide T o Grilling 15 NO TE: This guide should be follow ed carefully as the control setting , shelf position and grilling time may differ fr om your previous c ooker The settings in the above guide ha ve been developed t o cook food successfully without excessiv e fat spitting and splashing.

Using T he T op O v en 17 Step 1 Check that the timer (G) is in manual. Place the shelf in the correct position (see T op Oven T emperature Charts in General information book) Step 2 Select the required cooking temperature using control (E) clockwise (see T op Oven T emperature Charts in G eneral information book).
Since a circulaire fan ov en heats up more quickly , and generally cooks food at a lower temperature than a con vection oven, pre-heating is often unneces sary. Using T he Main O v en F or Other F unctions 19 “SL OW” SETTING This is used for slow c ooking, keeping food warm and warming pla tes for short periods. Ex tra care must be taken when warming bone china. Do not place food or plat es on the floor of the oven.

21 Problem Check Something W rong? Remember "Cook P eriod" is the actual length of time for which the timer will switch the oven(s) on as part of an "Auto C ooking" programme.
