15 The built-in glass-ceramic coo ker hob is intended for domestic use. Our products are packaged using eco-comp atible materials that can be recycled, disposed of or destroyed. For this reason, we have approp riately indicated the materials comprising the packaging.
Install ation of the appl iance and connecti on to th e mains electrici ty must be carri ed out by qu alified pe rsonnel onl y. • Several p arts of the a ppli ance heat up du ring use. Keep chil dren away fro m the appl i ance and warn them of th e risk of burns.
17 The glass-ceramic surfac e must be cleaned wi th the aid of a d amp sponge and dish soap. Do not use aggressive an d abrasive detergen ts, pot scrubbers and stain or rust removers.
18 • Do not use clay pots as these may scr atch the glass-ceramic surface. • The diameter of the pot base must match t hat of the cooking zone. Using pots that are too sma ll causes energy wastage an d may damage the cooker ho b. • Use the lid if comp atible with the type of f ood preparation.
