3 QUICK S T AR T MiniMote w as designed specically for children ages thr ee or older , with s afe ty and simplicity in mind. MiniMote offers a simple means of c ontrol ov er what cont ent your children are exposed t o when they w atch television.
4 Step 3: Se t TV Contr ol (Optional) 1. With your tele vision ON, and the remote in Progr amming mode, pres s the VOL + key . The LED blinks twice . 2. Refer t o the TV codes in the back of this manual. Find your TV brand and en ter the rst code f or that brand by using the number ke ys on the remote .
5 3. Press and hold the S T AR(1) button until the LED blinks twic e. S T AR(1) now is progr ammed to the channel that you hav e assigned. 4. Repea t steps above t o assign a fa vourite channel to the MOON(2) button.
6 Cut a photo or ano ther image to the size of the circular image c ompartment and insert photo into opening. TIP: use the MiniMote char acter image that come s with the remote as a templa te.
7 FUNCTIONS AND KEY CHARTS Use the illustration belo w to locate fe atures on the MiniMote and then study the K ey Charts (on the next three pages) to le arn how they function.
8 The S T AR(1) and MOON(2) keys can be progr ammed to jump directly to the channel of your choic e. When in progr amming mode, S T AR is the 1 key and MOON is the 2 key , VOL + turns the TV volume up . MUTE mutes the TV v olume. When in progr amming mode, MUTE acts as the SA VE key .
9 ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING OPTIONS Locate the thr ee position switch within the batt ery compartment. Set the switch t o the middle position P to enter progr amming mode. When progr amming is complete , set the switch t o either CHILD mode or ADUL T mode before r eplacing the battery compartment door .
