- 9 - Conguration Setting the time The L CD display q shows y ou the time of day . Y ou set this as follow s: 1. Hold down the SET button e for a little longer than 3 seconds. 2. With the or button h select "CONFIG" and conrmwiththeOKbutton l .
- 10 - Background Illumination When the lighting circumstances ar e poor you can activate the display's back ground illumination. Bear in mind that this will reduce the lifespan of the batteries. 1. Press once the LIGHT button t . F rom now on the L CD display q will illuminate with each button press for appro x.

Programming b y manual code input In this mode the remote contr ol can be programmed b y direct input of a code number . Please extr act the necessar y code number from the accompan ying code list.

- 15 - 8. If the device does not r eact again carr y on switching ev er y 1.5 seconds with the button h to the previous code until the device reacts. 9. Then press the OK button l to sav e the code. The L CD display q sho ws "SUCCESS" and then returns again to the "AUT O SEARCH" mode.

- 17 - Clear programmed button 1. Press the corresponding device butt on. 2. Hold down the SET button e for a little longer than 3 seconds. 3. With the or button h select "LEARNING" and con- rmwiththeOKbutton l . In the L CD display q appears "LEARN KEY".

Prog ramming Macros With the MA CRO function up to 16 button commands can be carri ed o ut w ith t he p res s of a s ingl e bu tton , th at i s to say , se ve ral pr eviously saved contr ol commands can be deleted with one MA CRO button.

- 22 - V olume control V ol +/—, (Mute switching) Press the "V OL+" button to increase the volume. With the "VOL —" butt on you reduce the v olume. T o mute the sound press the -button. A further press of this button turns the sound back on.

- 24 - Automatic station redirecting Note: 1. With this function all stations can be accessed in rapid succession without the necessity of manual redirection. 2. This function is only available for T V . 3. The function is then also for AUX av ailable if a T V device isdenedhere.
- 25 - Alternative button allocation in PIP mode Note: The PIP function (picture in pictur e) is only available in the T V mode. Y our T V device must support this function. Y ous witch the PIP fun ction on and/ oro wi thth ePI Pbu tton .
- 26 - The remote control does not change the station on t he device. Press the corresponding de vice button > r t o se t th e r emot e contr ol to the correct mode. In the ev ent that t he original R C does not have a "-/--" > button, change the progr amme with the C H+/ — buttons y or the number buttons.

Batteries can contain poisons which are damaging to • the envir onment. Therefore, dispose of the batteries/ recharg eable batteries in accordance with statutor y regulations.
