Thank you for purchasing this Cambridge Audio Incognito product. Incognito is a cost- effective, modular based multi-room system using standard Cat-5/5e or Cat-6 cable to distribute hi-fi quality sound around a home. Optionally, video can also be distributed using co-axial cable and a VH10 video hub.

5 The LK10 should be placed ne xt to the KP1 0, using a double J-Box and double Decora™ faceplate (not supplied). The LK10 is fitt ed on the wall by fixing it into a double USA-type J-Box (electrician’s back- box). All knock-outs in the back -box should be removed t o provide maximum v entilation.
7 Pow er requirement The LK10 runs on 2 4 V DC (@ 250mA max) supplied through the connecting cable fr om the KP10 k eypad. As such there is no mains voltage present in the KP1 0 and the unit is often safe to fit in areas where only e xtra low voltage (EL V) equipment is permitted.
8 Buttons numbered 1-8 ha ve dual functions, which are controlled by the Shif t button. These buttons generate IR codes or macros cloned fr om the buttons of the same name on the LR1 0 learning remote (see lat er section on Cloning).
Week days - The bar over a lett er indicates the day of the w eek. Alarm - Display ed when the alarm function is set. IR - Indicates when an infra-red signal is sent from the LK1 0. Time - Displays current time. ‘PM’ appears when 12 hour clock is set.
The LK10 can only be used t o control source equipment once it has been cloned from the LR1 0. This transfers the necessary IR codes and macros into the LK1 0. The Incognito LR10 is a sophisticated learning remot e which is able to learn the codes of all the source equipment fr om their own remotes.

After approximat ely 7 minutes the ke ypad display should show ‘COMPLETE’ and return to normal operation. All data has been transferred. If the clone fails the ke ypad will show ‘ERROR’ or ‘TIMEOUT’. Put the transmitting LR1 0 remote back int o Clone mode and repeat the process.
Note: Y ou still use your KP1 0 keypad t o control audio functions (volume adjustment, sour ce selection etc). T o per sonalise other settings of the LK1 0, press and hold the Set button f or four seconds to activate the Settings menus (Fig.

15 LK1 0 ENGLISH Sleep menu This menu allows you t o set the time at which the LK10 will automatically switch off. Press the Set button f or five seconds and release when ‘SLEEP?’ is display ed on the screen. Use the and buttons to na vigate the menu.
16 Setup menu This menu lets the user manually set the time and date of the LK1 0. Press the Set button for five seconds and release when ‘SETUP?’ is displa yed on the screen. Use the and buttons to na vigate the menu. Use the and buttons to adjust the desired option.

18 T roubleshooting If the LK10 becomes lock ed and/or ‘ERROR’ appears on the display due t o a power interuption or during cloning, f ollow these steps: 1. Unplug the pow er to the system and plug back in after one minute. 2. When the power resumes, the LK1 0 will display dist or ted t ext.
