2 INTRODUCTION Congratulations on purchasing this Cambridge Audio D Series Compact Disc Player. It has been designed using the results from an extensive Research & Development program undertaken to identify the circuitry and components fundamental to our highly regarded and critically acclaimed products.

4 INSTALLATION Please take a moment to read these notes before installing your D Series Compact Disc player, they will enable you to get the best performance and prolong the life of the product. This unit may be installed on any sturdy, level surface.
5 LOADING AND UNLOADING DISCS 1. Press the POWER switch. 2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button. The disc tray will open. If the disc tray is blocked while operating, the tray will stop and automatically after approximately 8 seconds. 3. When the disc tray has opened fully, place a disc carefully in the tray with the label side facing up.
6 NORMAL DISC PLAY 1. Switch on your amplifier and set its input selector to the correct position. Adjust the volume control to a minimum. 2. Press the POWER switch. 3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc tray, and load a disc. 4. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray.
7 PROGRAMMING DISC PLAY 1. Ensure that a disc is loaded and the player is in standby mode. 2. Press PROGRAM/REPEAT. The Program setup will appear in the display 3. Using the shuttle switch or the remote handset skip to the track number that you want to program as your first track.
