Incognito A-BUS ke ypad 3 Thank you for purchasing this Cambridge Audio Incognito product. Incognito is a cost-effective, modular based system using standard Cat-5 or Cat-6 cable to distribute hi-fi quality sound and video around a home.
The KP1 0 k eypad can be used in two main configurations: 1. As par t of a full Incognito syst em, where it is plugged into an Incognito hub (AH1 0), perhaps with other Incognit o accessories such as a video switching unit (VH1 0) or local input module (LM1 0) fitted.

A-BUS Ready / Incognito Ready For use with an A-BUS Ready/Incognit o R eady unit (see diagram opposite) the Mode switch MUS T be in the "Standard A-BUS/Incognito Ready" position as sho wn below: In this configuration the ke ypad is wired directly to the am plifier/receiver .

8 Incognito KP1 0 The KP1 0 is fitted on the w all by fixing it into a standar d UK 4 7mm depth single-gang electrician’s back-bo x (pattress). All knock-outs in the back -box should be remo ved t o pro vide maximum ventilation.
Incognito A-BUS ke ypad 9 Safety precautions Care should be tak en when choosing the site f or a KP1 0, the k eypad must ne ver be installed in a back-bo x which also contains mains wiring or in areas of high humidity . The KP1 0 runs on 2 4 V DC supplied through the connecting cable.
Cat5 to KP10 punch down connectors A Cat-5 cable (terminat ed with an RJ45 jack plug) is used to connect the KP1 0 to an AH1 0 hub or A-BUS Ready receiv er . The KP1 0 has punch down connect ors for the eight individual conductors of the Cat-5 cable (use a small flat-bladed screwdriv er).

12 Incognito KP1 0 The six LEDs indicate the function status of the KP1 0. List ed below are each of the functions of the corresponding LEDs: Minimum volume / Source select Volume / Source select / Ba.
Incognito A-BUS ke ypad 13 Standby/On Press to switch the k eypad between On and Standb y mode. By pressing and holding the Standby butt on f or about 2 seconds, all KP1 0s connected t o the AH1 0 hub will be turned of f.
14 Incognit o KP10 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS Important! As mentioned previously , the KP1 0 can be switched between two modes of operation; a standard A-BUS mode f or compatibility with other manufacturers A-BUS Ready eq uipment (Standard A-BUS/Incognito R eady mode), and an Incognito A-BUS hub mode (AH1 0 mode).
Af ter holding bo th buttons down f or a shor t period, the second LED on the k eypad will light indicating that Bass adjust mode has been activat ed. In this mode pressing the V olume up/down k e ys will adjust the Bass (low frequencies) le vel.
16 Incognito KP1 0 Note: This f eature is only av ailable if the KP1 0 is par t of a full Incognito multi-r oom system with one or two Local In put Modules (LM1 0) fitted. The local source selection mode will need t o be activat ed to configure the KP1 0 correctly .
Incognito A-BUS ke ypad 17 Continuing to hold V olume up and Po wer buttons will light LED 5, t o indicat e that Off mode is a vailable f or selection, and no source will be select ed. T o select these modes, wait till the corresponding LED is lit and then release Po wer and V olume up buttons.
