2 W ARNING • Never use natural gas in a unit designed f or liquid propane gas. • Never use c harcoal briquets or lighter fluid in a gas grill. • Leak test all connections before fir st use, e ven if grill was pur c hased full y assemb led and after each tank refill.
CYLINDER SPECIFICA TIONS: When purchasing or e xchanging a cylinder for y our gas grill, it must be constr ucted and marked in accordance with the specifications f or LP gas cylinders of the U.
4 The cylinder must also be equipped with: • A shut-off v alve terminating in a T ype 1 gas cylinder valv e outlet. • A T ype 1 v alve that pre vents gas flo w until a positive seal is obtained. • An arrangement f or vapor withdr awal. • A collar to protect the cylinder shut-off v alve.
W ARNING FILLING THE LP GAS CYLINDER: • Allow onl y qualified LP gas dealers to properl y fill or repair your LP gas cylinder . • New tanks should be pur g ed prior to filling; inform LP gas dealer if y ou are using a new tank. • DO NO T allow the cylinder to be filled be yond 80% capacity .
6 W ARNING • Never use y our grill without leak testing all gas connections and hoses. See the section on "Leak T esting" in this manual for pr oper procedures. The pressure regulator and hose assembl y supplied with your gas grill is designed to work with an LP gas supply c ylinder .
LEAK TESTING: T o prevent fire or explosion hazar d: • DO NO T smoke or permit ignition sources in the area while conducting a leak test. • P erform test OUTDOORS only in a well ventilated area. • Never perf orm a leak test with a match or open flame.
W ARNING 8 6. Check each place listed (A -K) f or growing b ubbles which indicates a leak. 7. T ur n OFF gas supply at cylinder valv e. 8. T ur n on control knobs to release gas pressure in hose. 9. T ur n control knobs to OFF position. 10. Tighten any leaking connections.
LIGHTING INSTR UCTIONS: Follow the instructions e xactly . 1. OPEN THE GRILL LID before attempting to light a b urner so that fumes do not accumulate inside the grill. An explosion could occur if grill lid is down. 2. Check that all b urner control knobs and the cylinder v alve are turned to the OFF position.
LIGHTING THE SIDE BURNER: 1. Open lid to the side bur ner before lighting. 2. T ur n on the side burner by pressing in and rotating the control knob to the HIGH position. 3. Press and hold the igniter button on the main control panel f or 3-5 seconds until the burner ignites.
11 OPERA TING THE GRILL: Never use Char coal or Lighter Fluid inside your Gas Grill. Read and follo w all warnings and instructions contained in the preceding sections of this manual.
R O TISSERIE COOKING: • Y our grill was pre-drilled from factory to include mounting holes for a Brinkmann rotisserie (sold separately). Do not use a rotisserie not specifically manuf actured for this g r ill. • Read and f ollow all instructions provided with the rotisserie.
TRANSPOR TING AND ST ORA GE: • Never mo ve a grill when it is hot or when objects are on the cooking surfaces. • Make sure that cylinder v alve is shut off. After moving the grill chec k that all gas connections are free of leaks. Refer to instructions for leak test on pa g e 7 of this manual.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE: • F or safe grilling and peak perf or mance of your g r ill, perf or m these checks at least twice per y ear or after e xtended per iods of storage . HARD W ARE • Be sure to tighten up all hardware (n uts, bolts, scre ws, etc.
TR OUBLE SHOO TING: Prob lem: P ossible Causes: • Burner will not light 1. Chec k LP cylinder fuel lev el. 2. Bad electrode spark. Check to see if the g r ill will “ match light. ” (See Page 9) Electrode or collector ma y need adjustment. 3. Burner may not be properly seated.

Choose a good, cleared assembly area and get a friend to help you put your g r ill together . Lay cardboard down to protect g r ill finish and assembly area. Step 1 Assemble bottom cart panel and right side car t panel assembly by using f our M6 X 60mm bolts (hand tighten only at this point).
Note: With the help of a friend, turn the cart over , try to minimize the stress to the side panels. Step 3 Attach locking casters to the bottom of the car t. Tighten caster bolts securely using he x nut wrench provided in par ts pac k. Note: With the help of a friend, turn the cart to its upright position.
22 Step 5 Place tank tra y assembly o ver v ent holes in bottom car t panel and secure using f our M6 X 12mm bolts. T ank tra y should slide in and out of car t freely . Step 6 Install door brac ket using the f our #10 X 1/2 ” self taping screws . Mak e sure door stop is set tow ard back of car t.
23 Step 7 Inser t right side door over lo wer piv ot (on bottom car t panel) then align door with car t frame. Depress spring pin located on top edge of door and slide door tow ard side car t panel until spring pin locks into hole in door brac ket. Repeat for other door .
Note: When performing Step 9, Lift grill body fr om front and rear panels to av oid injury to hands and fingers. Step 9 With the help of a friend, place grill body assembly on g r ill car t. Gr ill body will rest between upper side sections of car t. Align front edge of grill body assembly with front edges of car t frame legs.
25 Step 10 Attach side burner assembly to g r ill body assembly b y inser ting four M6 X 20mm bolts through the holes in the side burner assembly and into holes of grill body assembly . Tighten all four bolts . Install side burner grate and control knob .
Step 13 Attach side table/ice b uck et assembly to g r ill body assemb ly by inser ting f our M6 X 20mm bolts through the holes in the side table/ice b uck et assembly and into holes of grill body assembly . Tighten all f our bolts. Step 14 Inser t tool dra wer into front opening under control panel by dropping roller wheels into side channels.
Step 15 Inser t grill bottom into opening on backside of g r ill. Make sure to slide tra y onto trac ks as illustrated. Step 16 Slide grease tra y into grease tr ay brac ket located under grill bottom on backside of g r ill. Step 17 Hang stainless steel buc ket in cut-out of left side table/ice b uck et assembly .
28 Step 19 Place the stainless steel heat shields on low er lev el of grill body assembly directly abo ve b ur ners. Step 20 Place stainless steel cooking grills on suppor t ribs directly above stainless steel heat shields. Step 21 Place warming rack in slots abo ve stainless steel cooking grills.
