3 Introduction Thank you for choosing Boston A coustics and congratulations on your purchase of the Horizon Solo XT High Performance T abletop DAB Radio. If you own other Boston products, the outstanding audio performance and ease- of-use of the Solo XT should come as no surprise.
4 Unpacking and Setting Up Y our Horizon Solo XT Carefully unpack Horizon Solo XT . I f there is any sign of damage fr om transit, report it immediately to your dealer and/or delivery ser vice. Keep the shipping car ton and packing materials for future use.
5 Po wer C onnection Just connect the power cord to the back of the Solo XT and plug it into a power outlet. Antenna The Horizon Solo XT is shipped with an extendable antenna connected to a rear panel input.

7 Setting the Clock, Time , Date and Related F unc tions 1 T urn the MODE/INFO control t o highlight “Setup Options” then press the control . 2 T urn the MODE/INFO control t o highlight “Clock ” then press the control. Y ou’ll see the menu screen shown at the right.
8 DAB Radio The D AB Station List When you plug in the Solo XT for the rst time it automatically searches the DAB radio bands for stations and puts the available stations in a list. If you move the Solo XT to a new location you can use the DAB Scan feature t o reset the station list.
9 DAB Station Setup If you move the Solo XT to a new location you can use the DAB Scan f eature to reset the station list. Y ou can also manually select stations to add to the list. 1 T urn the MODE/INFO control t o highlight “DAB Setup” . Press the control.
10 Setting a Station Preset 1 T une in the FM or D AB station you want to assign t o a preset. 3 Pr ess and hold the TUNE control for 3 seconds . The preset indicator in the upper left corner of the display will light indicating the station has been stored in the preset.

12 Sleep F unction Y ou can set the Solo XT to play a radio station for up to 90 minutes. After the speci ed time the Solo XT shuts o . You can use the Sleep F unction with one of the radio sources or with the Aux input. 1 Use the MODE/INFO contr ol to select the source you want.
13 Display C ontrols The “Display Setup” menu lets you control what information is shown in the display and how it looks. The t wo display examples below show the controls available . T o access the Display Setup menu: 1 T urn the MODE/INFO control t o highlight “Setup Options” .
14 Resetting T o F ac tor y Default Should you want to return your Solo XT to its “ out of the box ” con guration, you can use the Factory Default reset featur e. This erases the DAB station list, clears the radio station presets, and returns all other menu settings to there original state .
15 Limited W arranty Boston Acoustics warrants to the original purchaser of the Horizon Solo XT that it will be free of def ects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
