4 1: Char ge Y our SENSE Befor e using your SENSE, char ge it using the supplied USB cabl e and char ger: > A full charge t akes about 2.5 - 3 hours. > During charging, the batt ery indicator light turns r ed. > When the light goes out, the charge is c omplete.
ENG LIS H 5 2: Pair the SENSE with your Phone 1. Slide the power switch to the ON position. 2. The SENSE will announce the availabl e languages. T ap the Blu eA nt symbol when you hear your language. 3. The SENSE will now talk you thr ough the pairing proc ess.
6 3: T ransfer your Phonebook Once the pairing is compl ete your SENSE will attempt to transfer the c ontacts from your phonebook so that it can announce the names of inc oming caller s. On most phones this happens automaticall y. If your phone asks you to all ow a connection to the “BlueAnt S3” , you must select “YES” or “OK”.
ENG LIS H 7 Android ™ On some Android de vices a message about the phonebook transfer appears at the t op of the screen. Y ou must swipe your fi nger over this message and accept the phonebook transfer r equest. Automatic T ransfer Not Supported Some phones do not support automatic phonebook transfers.

ENG LIS H 9 Answering Calls When the phone rings, the SENSE will announce the call er’s name or number and ask you if you want to tak e the call. Wait for the pr ompt to fi nish , and then say Answer or Ignore : 1 Call from John Smith, answer or ignore? Answer 2 Or: tap the Blu eA nt symbol at any time to answer the call.
10 Making Calls If your phone supports voice dialing o ver Bluetooth you can make calls using y our voice: 1. T ap the Blu eA nt symbol. 2. The SENSE activates your phone’ s voice dialing functionality . Please r efer to your phone’ s manual for details on the commands you can use t o control your phone.
ENG LIS H 11 Adjusting the V olume Swipe your fi nger across the top of the SENSE to adjust the v olume: Adjusting the volume when you ar e not on a call sets the volume of the voice pr ompts.
12 Redial and Call Back > Hold down the + symbol for about 3 seconds t o redial the last outgoing call. > Hold down the - symbol for about 3 seconds t o call back the last incoming call. Switching Between Multipl e Calls (Call W aiting)* > T ap the - symbol to end your call and answer an inc oming call.
ENG LIS H 13 Pairing Another Phone / Multipoint T o pair another phone, put your SENSE back into pairing mode by holding down the Blu eA nt symbol for about 6 seconds. > Y our SENSE can stor e pairing information for up to 2 phones. > Y our SENSE can connect to up to 2 phones at the same time (multipoint).
14 T ransferring your Phonebook Cont acts Y our SENSE uses T ext T o Speech technology (TTS) to r ead out the name of the person who is calling you. T o do this, the SENSE needs to store a copy of y our phonebook contacts.
ENG LIS H 15 1. Wait t o be prompted to start sending c ontacts to the SENSE. 2. Go to your phonebook and sel ect the contacts you want to send to the SENSE. Choose the option to “Mark All ” or “Select All ” if this is available on your phone (if this is not available, y ou will need to transfer each contact individuall y).
16 Reconnecting to the SENSE Y our SENSE includes a sensor that detects the vibration of your car door . This means that the SENSE will automaticall y reconnect to your phone when you get back in the c ar . If the SENSE does not connect to your phone f or any reason, tap the Blu eA nt symbol to for ce the SENSE to r econnect to your pair ed phone.
