Without this panel, the unit is w or thless to the thief . Protect y our unit from theft b y taking the flip/release panel with y ou ev er y time y ou lea ve the car .
8 Swit ching on by insert ing a CD If there is no CD in the CD compar t- ment when the car radio is s witched off , ➮ press the b utton 9 . The flip/release panel then opens. ➮ Without e x er ting any f orce, slide the CD into the compar tment, print- ed side upper most, until y ou f eel some resistance.
9 FRANÇAIS ENGLISH ESP AÑOL PORTUGUÊS V olume adjustment The system v olume can be adjusted in steps from 0 (off) to 66 (maxim um). ➮ T o raise the system v olume , turn the v olume control 2 to the right. ➮ T o lower the system v olume, tur n the v olume control 2 to the left.
10 ➮ Press the MENU button 8 . ➮ Press the b utton : repeatedly until “ TEL/NA VI V OL ” appears on the displa y . ➮ Use the buttons : to set the desired v olume. ➮ When y ou ha v e completed the set- tings, press either the MENU b ut- ton 8 or OK ; .

12 St oring stat ions aut omat ically (T ravelst ore) Y ou can store the six stations with the strongest reception in the region auto- matically (only FM). The stations are stored in the FMT memor y . Note: Stations that w ere pre viously stored in this memor y are deleted in the process .

Single CDs with a diameter of 3 inch- es and CDs which are not circular ( “ shape CDs ” ) should not be used. 18 Interrupt ing Play ( P AUS E ) ➮ Press the b utton 3 > . “ P A USE ” appears on the displa y . Ending Pause ➮ Press the b utton 3 > during the pause . Pla y then resumes. Naming CDs T o mak e it easier f or you to recognise y our CDs , the car radio off ers an indi- vidual name option f or 99 CDs.
