English -3- Intended use Y our Black and Decker Rice Cooker has been designed for cooking rice as described in this manual. Do not use this appliance for any other purpose.

Put the cooking bowl into the rice cooker . Check to ensure the cooking bowl is in good contact with the heating plate and add the lid to the cooking bowl. Plug the supply cord into a suitable electric supply . The cook indicator (K) light will light up.
