4 Zoom ADS L Bridge Mo dem Use r’s Man ual 1 Installation Instructions 1.1 Important! Before Y ou Begin Before installing your ADSL Bridge, you must have DSL service enabled on your telephone line. To do this, you need to sign up with a DSL service provider.
Chapter 1: Ins tallation Inst ru ctions 5 You Will Also Need • A Windows, Macintos h, Linux, or other co mputer that supports TC P/IP and tha t is equipped with a Ne twork Interfac e Card (N IC). • A telephone wall jack to plug the Bridge into. The as sociated phone line must be DSL enabled.

Chapter 2 : Sy stem Adm inistra tion 9 From here, you can verify whether your ADSL connection is active or not ( ADSL Line State Sta tus will read SHOWTIM E ). You can also monitor related ADSL parameters; for example, how fast the Bridge is transferri ng data.
