6 Attaching The Handle • Unfold the upper handle un til it aligns wit h the lower handle. • Secure th e two hand les by ti ghtening th e wing nuts (carriage bolt s must be seated properly into the handle).
7 Attaching The Blower Chute (If Equipped) • Grasp blower ch ute with one hand and slid e locking rod on mounting br acket with other hand toward engine. Use end of mounting br acket as leverage when sliding the locking rod. See Figure 5. • Slip blower chute over rim of the discharge opening and release locking rod to secure chute in place.
8 Chipper Chute Allow twigs and small bran ches up to 1 1/2” in diameter to be fed in to the impeller for chipping. Blower Chute (If Equipped) When attached to unit the blower chu te is used to blow or scatter yard waste such as leaves, pine needles, or small twigs across yard.
9 • Twist the t wo buttons on the back of the bag to unlock and emp ty contents. See F igure 7. • Hold bag hand le and bag clip while e mptying the contents. • Compress bag op ening and fold inner flap over opening. • Fold outer f lap over inner flap and insert buttons on the bag throug h metal outlets.
10 Nozzle Height Adjustment The nozzle ca n be adj usted to an y six position s, ranging from 5/ 8” to 4 1/8” ground clearance . The nozzle height ha s to be adjusted acc ording to the conditions. Move the heigh t adjustment levers forward or backward to adjust th e nozzle upwards or downwards.
11 Maintenance Engine Refer to the separate en gine manual for all engine maintenance instructions. • Check engine oil level before each use as instructed in the separ ate engi ne manual packed with your unit. Read and follow instructions carefully.
