10 SPEAKER SETUP 12 Connecting the speakers Be sure to connect the left channel (L), right channel (R), “ + ” (red) and “–” (black) properly . If the connections are faulty , no sound will be heard from the speakers, and if the polarity of the speaker connections is incorrect, the sound will be unnatural and lack bass.

54 TROUBLESHOO TING Problem No sound from the rear center speaker. A “ humming ” sound can be heard. The volume level cannot be increased, or the sound is distorted. The sound effect cannot be recorded. A source cannot be recorded by a digital recording component connected to the DIGITAL OUTPUT jack of this unit.
