6 As shown in the diagram, set up your pad unit on an electronic d rum rack or a standard cymbal stand (such as a Y amaha CS Series product). 1 Using a tuning key (optio nal), loo sen the s topper’s k ey bolt. (See Figure 1 .) 2 Remov e the wing nut, the t wo felt pads, and the bo lt cover from the cymbal holder .
7 6 Place one of the f elt pads r emov ed in St ep 2 on th e cymbal ho lder . (See F igure 5.) 7 Mount the pad unit on the cymbal stand. Lower the pad unit into place with the cymbal ho lder’s shaf t passing throug h the centra l hole of the Cup se ction.
8 Using the stereo audio cable provided, connect t he pad unit’s output to a suitable input jack on a DTX Series Drum T rigger Module. At this time, ensure that the L -shaped e nd of the cable is plugged into the pad unit’s OUTPUT connector .
9 If you encount er any of t he fo llow ing dif f iculties when play ing y our PC Y Seri es pad unit, pl ease tak e the steps indicated to resolv e them before order ing repairs.
