4.2 < Network setup> Configuring TCP/IP Y our printer c an be set up with a variety o f TCP/IP network inf ormation, such as an IP addres s, a sub net ma sk, a gate way , and DNS addresse s. There are several ways i n whic h your printer c an be a ssigned a TCP/ IP address, dependin g on your network.

After you have assigned and verified the T CP/IP settings, you are ready to install the software on each computer on the network.

From your Macintosh applicati on, select Print from th e File menu. The printer name which appears in t he printer pr opertie s window may diff er dependi ng on the prin ter in use.
