- 1 - QUICK START INSTRUCTIONS MRC88m & XT1 Multi-Room Controller and Tuner Integration DESCRIPTION This document describes how to integrate the XT1 with the MRC88m, usi ng Dragon-Drop software.
- 2 - ENABLING THE XT1 DRIVER 1) Open the Project Options dial og box (“File->Project Options”). 2) Select the “Sour ce Components” tab. 3) Select the “XT1” tab. 4) Click the “Enabled” check box to enable XT1-1. (N ote that the MRC88m s upports up to 6 XT1’s, denoted XT1-1 thru XT1-6.

- 4 - CONFIGURING THE MRC88m KE YPAD TO CONTROL THE XT1 The XT1 is controlled by using the new “Metadat a” Internal Commands. These new commands can be used to control the XT1, XIS1 00, the XMusic, and the iPort. S ee Figure 1 at the end of this document that describes how each Metadata in ternal command maps to the XT 1 function.
- 5 - 7) In the “Source” box, select “1 ”, since the XT1 we want to control is connected to Source 1. 8) Click the “Accept” Button. You have now successfully programmed the“ Ç PAUSE” button in Zone 1 perform the “Frequency Up” function of the XT 1.
