MODEL W1226 PLANER PAL ® MINI PLANER PAL ® KNIFE SETTING JIG The Mini Planer Pal ® knife setting jig was specially designed for use on the 1 7 / 8 " diameter cutterheads that come on most portable 10" and 12" planers. With proper care, the Mini Planer Pal ® should pro- vide you with years of reliable knife setting service.
6. Hold the cutterhead with one hand and slide each jig until the indexing pin contacts the back edge of the gib slot. See Figure. Figure shows proper alignment (left side) of the Planer Pal™. 7. Use a flashlight to look down the length of the cutterhead to ensure that the knife is in contact with the middle magnet of both jigs.
