These parts must be provided by Poulan/Weed Eater , and installed as shown below . Failure to use proper parts can cause the blade to f ly off and seriously hurt you or others.

S Move chok e lev er to FULL CHOKE pos i- tion. S Squeeze the t hrottle trigger full y and hold through all remaini ng st eps .
8 S Cut only grass , weeds, and woody brush up to 1/2 inch in diamet er wit h the weed blade. Do not let the blade cont act mat erial it can- not cut such as stu mps, rocks, fences, metal, etc ., or clus ters of hard, woody brush having a diameter great er t han 1/2 inc h.
