A Few Wor ds about design: T h e M C X ™ i s quite a n unusual product, but the reasoning behind its design was quite si m pl e .
The MCX-106 is a c o m pact self-powered mixer with a Microprocessor controlled st e re o cassette deck, designed to allow recording a live demo t ap e , performing t o pre-recorded program m a t e ri.
Foldback Control (FB) T h e Foldback contr ol deter- min es th e level o f signal assign- e d to the foldback mixing buss, th us setting t he level of t h a t channel in t he on-stage monitor mix.

Generally speaking, there ar e two rules to follow when connecting equipment outputs t o the inputs o f o th er equipment. 1 . Properly match th e impe d ances o f t h e outputs a n d inputs. 2 . Connect lo w impedance outputs to high impedance inputs.
Before connecting other equipment to the P ow er ed mixer, check th e impedance an d level of both. If the impedances and levels do not m atch, mixing will be v ery difficult a n d the S/ N ratio wi ll als o be adversely affected. E ac h input channel o f the M CX-106 is provided wi th a TRIM control.
