1 1. Introduction This document describes the ViewSonic NMP -550 M edia Player system set u p, configuration, a nd use of Signage Manager Exp ress software.

3 1.6. System Set- Up 1 Attach a video cable (either V GA or HDMI) to you r monitor. When using the VGA connection , your monito r should support XGA (1024x76 8) resolution or greater. For audio outp ut, you will also need to con nect a stereo RCA cab le from the NMP -550 to yo ur monitor.
4 1.8. Mounting provision s The HMP-500S/505 S is supplied with a pair of mounting p lates for physical installat ion. 1. Attach the mountin g plates to the bott om side of the player with 2 screws (supplied) on each side. 2. Configuring the NMP-550 Media Pla yer Once the player s etup is completed an d you have the d efault presentation runnin g on your monitor, you may then p roceed to configuring yo ur NMP -550 media play er: 2.1. 12 6. Appendix: FA Q What should I do if I forgo t my passwor d? In this case, please perform a factory reset. Use the S/W RESET butt on located a t the back of th e media player to restore factory setti ngs. This will also clear the player’s pas sword.
