Introduction T he PSX-2’ s exciting features, combined with the tw o wa y MX-6000 color touch screen remote control or a TV with component video inputs and any URC remote control, transform an y iP od into a multi- media personal server with all browsing and media selection taking place on the screen of the MX-6000 or on the screen of the TV .

Using the PSX-2 via On Screen TV Interface After connecting the PSX-2 to your T elevision’ s component video inputs, place an iP od in the PSX-2. Note that y ou can freely change iP ods at any time, except w hen you are sync hronizing your iP od to iT unes.
Using the PSX-2 Via MX-6000 Step 1 – Insert an iP od into the PSX-2. T he Univ ersal Remote Control screen appears on the iP od. T his means it’ s connected to the dock and ready for use with the MX-6000 remote control . Step 2 – Select the iP od y ou want to listen to from the Main page of your MX-6000.
Shortcuts: T he “Shortcuts” button makes na vi- gating your iP od easier than ever before. T ouch any button to jump directly to that menu. Example: T ouch the “ Artists” button to jump directly to the Artists menu. Shuffle: T he “Shuffle” button opens an expanded menu of shuffle options.
Using the Alpha Sear c h Featur e: T he “searc h” button appears in the upper right whenev er you are looking at a Menu or Jukebox screen. Once you clic k on Searc h, an alphabetical keyboard appears. Simply type in what y ou’ d like to searc h for and touch “Go”.

On a Mac, look for URC PSXLink in the Finder then clic k on the icon. Requirements for Remote Synchr onization: • iT unes must be installed • PC with W indows XP or Vista (32-bit) version or higher . • MA C with Mac OS – 10.4.x - 10.5.x (PPC version) 10.
Syncing Y our iP od to iT unes: Step 1 – Click on PSX Link icon (as described on page 11). Step 2 – T he PSX Link window appears displa ying all the iP ods present on your network. Step 3 – Click on the iP od you want to connect to iT unes and click on the Connect button.
