Batteries may be used instead of the supplied AC Adaptor . 1. Remove the battery compartment cover . 2. Fit 4 x AA alkaline batteries. 3. Replace the cover and secure with screw . 4x AA Batteries Connecting Line Cords and AC Adaptor 1. Plug one end of the supplied telephone cord into the telephone line socket located at the rear of the phone.
Digit Insert 0 Caller ID T o correctly display and dial Call ID numbers, you may need to insert a digit at the beginning of your telephone number . (eg: in New Zealand, T elecom requires a '0' to be inserted.) If you subscribe to T elecom New Zealand, this code has already been set for you to '0'.
F or 'Call W aiting' to operate you must subscribe to this ser vice through your local telephone company . If you do not have this ser vice, then pressing the flash button during a call may disconnect the caller .
