Only n umbers stored in the Base Unit may be dialled from the Base Unit. ! 10 STORING PHONE NUMBERS AND N AMES The pause feature is useful for long distance calling, credit card dialing, or sequences that require a pause between digits . With the Handset Memory Dialing allows you to dial a n umber using just a few key strokes .
11 Memory Dialling from Standby 1. Press once , the handset displays your programmed memory locations. 2. Press and or enter a two-digit number to select the memory location you would like to dial.
EDITING A STORED N AME AND PHONE NUMBER 1. Press and hold until MEMOR Y STORE is display ed. 2. Press and or enter a two-digit n umber to select the memory location you w ould like to edit. 3. Press - the screen displays the memory location number you ha ve selected.

Y ou must subscribe to the Caller ID service from your local telephone company to use these features. When the telephone rings, the Caller ID feature allo ws you to view the caller’s name and phone number on the displa y before you answer the phone .

Setting Up Y our Answering System Setting your greeting: When you recei ve a call, the ans wering system automaticall y plays either a preset messag e or your o wn greeting. Recording a personal outgoing message (Greeting): 1. Press and hold until you hear a tone .
Selecting Ring Time Switch: The ring time/toll sa v er switch allows y ou to set the n umber of rings the caller hears before the answ ering system plays your outgoing messag e . Y ou can set the switch to answer after tw o rings or after four rings. Once the greeting has started, you can stop it when you pick up the call at the handset or base .
Deleting Messages Deleting individual messag es: 1. Press play to review y our message . 2. If you decide to delete a message , press anytime during the message . The system beeps and immediately goes to the ne xt message . Deleting all messages: Press and hold while the system is in standby .
Remote access a way from home: Y ou can operate your answering system from a remote location using any touch-tone telephone . Use this function to check for recorded messages , play or delete messag es , record a new outgoing message - or - monitor sounds in the room.
