Operation of this device is subject to the following conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
R emote Star t i n g Re m o t e S t a rt er Functions 1.Press and release the button. 2.The park light s will flash and the horn (optional) will honk one time. 3.The vehicle will then remote start. The park light s will flash four times then remain on while the vehicle is running*.
Manual transmission remote st arters must be set into Reservation Mode before the remote st arter will activate. There are two different ways to place the system into Reservation Mode. The activation type of Reservation Mode is determined when the system is inst alled.
Press and hold the UNLOCK button doors will unlock (optional). Continue holding until the trunk release will activates. * The trunk release will be confirmed by one park light flash and horn (Optional) honk. Note: The trunk release output will not activate when the ignition key is in the On position.
Car Finder (Default Setting) 1. Press and hold the # button for 3 seconds. 2.The park light s will flash and the horn(optional) will honk 5 times. Note: This feature can be used to locate the vehicle in a crowded parking lot. T runk Release on the # button.
Cold S tart/T imer Mode will start the vehicle at a user select able st art interval or temperature setting. The vehicle can be set to start once every 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours in T imer Mode or 0,-5,-15 or -25 Celsius in T emperature Mode (L T Models Only) for a maximum 12 start s.
Page 9 System Service Mode will disable the remote starter . This will only ef fect the remote start portion of the system. The optional lock, unlock and trunk release features will still be operational. When the vehicle is to have any under hood or service work done, the system must be placed into Service Mode.
Being that the installer does not always see when the system shut s down or fails to start, Diagnostic Memory will store in memory up to four shut down codes. This information can then be accessed to determine the source of the shutdown. T o Enter Diagnostic Mode: Ste p 1 - T urn the ignition on then off.
