There are clearance alignment holes near the bot- tom of the coil wrapper and drill screws are used to en- gage the furnace top flange.
8 18-CD21D1-5 Installer’ s Guide If the furnace is suspended using perforated steel strap (plumber’s strap), it must be supported at all four cor- ners and in the middle at the front of the furnace. The forward most screw on the side of the furnace may be used to connect the strapping (See Figure 6).

18 18-CD21D1-5 Installer’ s Guide TWINNING These furnaces may be twinned. Twinning requires that two furnaces with the same configuration, capacity, and airflow must be used. They shall have common returns with equal pressure drops or ducts with equivalent lengths and sizes.

Never test for gas leaks with an open flame. Use a commer- cially available soap solution made specifically for the detection of leaks to check all connections.
